LES CARROZ VILLAGE

Les Carroz is a traditional alpine village a 55 minute drive from Geneva.
THE VILLAGE:

Les Carroz sits on a mountain plateau at 1140m surrounded by majestic mountains. It is a typical Savoyard village and is one of the oldest ski resorts in France. It has cleverly managed to keep its village atmosphere whilst moving with the times.

IN THE WINTER:

There are 265km of pistes to ski. Les Carroz is part of the Grand Massif skiing area so has links to Flaine, Morrillon, Samoens and Sixt. This includes access to over 15 black runs, 49 red runs, 55 blue runs, 16 green runs and 2 snow parks. All ages and abilities are catered for. For those who don't ski there are plenty of snow shoe walks, an ice rink, dog sledging, and of course shops to spend your money in. There is a new luxury pool/spa complex which is the perfect place to soak away those apres ski aches and pains.

IN THE SUMMER:

There is no end of activities to choose from, whether it be hiking along one of the 200km of marked footpaths in the Grand Massif or floating in a hot air balloon. There is something for everyone. Les Carroz takes pride in offering excellent facilities for all cycling sports but you can also try your hand at potholing, white water rafting, parapenting, climbing, summer dog sledding, tennis, swimming and even golf in nearby Flaine.
