Chalet Kilima has been in our family for over 38 years. Built in the 60s and renovated in 2015. It retains some of the original 60s vibe whilst being practical family space. It is set over two floors; a kitchen/living area and two bedrooms on the top floor and three bedrooms on the lower floor. Have a scroll down below to see some photographs, details and floorplans.
The living area has super comfy sofas to flop into. There is a wood burning stove to warm your toes against and you will find lots of games and books to keep the kids occupied.
The dining table seats 10 and has gorgeous views overlooking the village below and surrounding mountains. In the summer you can open up the double doors onto the balcony.
The kitchen has a gas hob, electric cooker, dishwasher & fridge/freezer. It comes fully equipped with all the gadgets you may need including a fondue set and a waffle maker. It's open plan so you can cook and chat to people at the same time.
There are two bathrooms; one upstairs and one downstairs. Both have bath and shower facilites with really good water pressure.
The 5 bedrooms are all really spacious. They all have Relyon divan beds. Each room has two single beds but these can be 'zip and linked' together to form a superking.
The entrance hall has lots of room to hang your coats and store your boots. Off it you will find a toilet and a drying room for all your ski-wear.
The downstairs hallway has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The hall also has a door leading out to a decked terrace with a dining table and chairs that are perfect for summer alfesco lunches.
